Alien’s Log #5: Vibespace, cryptids

Hello there this is the alien speaking!   How are you doing!

I must say that I first today created a new social media site that I hope people will join at some  point!  That being said it is similar to vent, as I had a very emotional week.  That being said I combines the features of MySpace and the old vent app that people used to know.  That being said do you remember vent! If you do then go to Vibespace

It was a sight that I’m used to belong ot though the owner of this app killed it off!  Which was very unfortunate. But I created another similar to it combines with the old MySpace!    So that was my morning!  Though I also started to create monsters on paper or iPad to be more exact!  That being said I am proud to show you some of my monsters, the the rest will have to be seen on my Deviant art.

Mutant snow man

That being said I always wanted to create creepypasta since I heard of sirenhead by Trevor Henderson!  That being said, this first thing: the mutant snow man!  Which is a snow man tha thas been infused monster DNA and radioactive snow!    This was very therapeutic for me and I found that this was rather good to draw this.   So I started to draw a monster or two a day.  That being said I was  fascinated by creepypasta and horror since I was 4 years old, strange I know but it happens to help with my PTSD and other problems that come with life.

What I see i usually draw for the fact that it would help with my problems and let me tell you have 99 problems and a bitch ain’t on of them, but seriously.  I also have come up with other monsters like the trauma eater and the worm of war, and as well as the classics like the wendigo and others!  That being said I have to move on to the next the trauma eater!

The trauma eater!

The trauma eater only looks like the demagogue from stranger things, that being said it only eats other peoples trauma and stress!  Though I have another picture of the trauma eater will strike at night.  Personally I wanted to make this rather scary that I would eat the trauma of people.

A little facts about this is that it has an iq of 1000 and it’s  rather vicious!

It only strikes at night though it was rather frightening looking with the flower like head

This is part flower and part wendigo!  That is much smarted then the wendigo!  Though it only eats trauma.  That being said try not sleep during that winter/spring time to get eaten by it.

The worm of war is a science fiction creature from  another planet thought it eats souls of the dead enemies and is use as military equipment to ensure the enemies doesn’t comeback from the dead.  It is also is a work of fiction!  Just like the mother monsters i created and even Trevor Henderson sirenhead and such!   That being said try the Vibespace and look at the mother monsters i created on deviant art!

That being  said I hope that people will be inspired to draw their own cryptic monsters!

Ducky's Log #5: Daylight Savings Time, Discovering the Origins of "Walking In The Air" + A random thought

It is I, Gwenny, yet again. Hope you've all had a lovely week. Daylight Savings Time is among us, and fast. As soon as those dadgone clocks are set forward, brace for the lost hour of sleep and after that, the usual darker mornings and lighter evenings, and we all know how those lighter evenings serve us in the summer.

Just last night, I randomly listened to my copy of the first Celtic Woman album that was originally owned by my mother. The first track is that of the intro called "Last Rose Of Summer" and "Walking In The Air" covered by one Chloë Agnew which is after the intro. The key word here is "covered". At the time of my very first listen to that album dating back to when I was barely even a preteen around the time of their live performance broadcasting on what I believe was most likely KVCR on my local station, I was completely unaware of the existence of the original version of the song. Fast forward to Christmas Eve of 2025, and I'm on YouTube riding that Christmas high. A 1982 short animated film known as The Snowman pops up in my feed for the umpteenth time and this time, I finally watch it, and it was the best decision I've ever made. I bawled my eyes out throughout that entire film over how beautiful it was. But most importantly, I would hear what would be the original song, composed by one Howard Blake and performed by a young choirboy known as Peter Auty.

https://youtu.be/SZfBU03nZqc?si=aGONWNIixM2XZyKZ

Now cut to last night, as I listened to Chloë's Celtic Woman rendition for the first time in many years, only then did I put two and two together. It was a full circle moment, and a good one too.

I will end The Ducky's Log with a random thought.

Out of all the Toy Story films I've ever watched, and I mean this with as much love to the first two, Toy Story 3 is the GOAT.

That will be all.

Please be on the lookout for the Alien's Log to come right after this! ¡Adíos, amigos!

Alien’s Log #4: on Ottawa bluesfest and the olympians, my drawings

Hello this is the alien speaking

Hello there today we are talking about the Olympians and there music!   I started to listen to their music when I also started to listen to the 40 minutes of funk podcast, though this was the first time for both, I was listening to the 40 minutes with Micheal B when I wanted to learn more about a favourite band (no not the insane clown posse I mean ‘here come the mummies’). And I was also directed to the Olympians after listening about the mummies.   As you might now that the mummies are coming to Ottawa Bluesfest this year in July so I like to learn about then history of the band (what I am an intellectual so I love learning) and I came across the Olympians episode and holy shit!  This is quality music!    It is disco funk music though I used to listen to this type of music as a  little kid other then the insane clown posse, i listened to funk.  And let me tell you this is rather reminding me of the good old days were I would travel with my parents and listen to disco at the resort!  That being said I love this groovy funk music the best.   Now I was suffering from a bout of insomnia when I heard ‘strawberry kiwi’ and some other songs on 40 Minutes of funk podcast and I was able to time travel back to the good parts of my childhood!   And when it was time  to go to bed I started to listen to ‘strawberry kiwi’ and then it happened, I relaxed so much that i feel into a deep sleep that was restful though the next day I started to feel the after effects of the sleep deprivation.     But I listened to the Olympians again last night and I must say that I am kitten today and not aggro at all!

That being said they release their music in 10 year increments which is rather annoying though I would not want to disappoint fans with crappy thoughtless music that some people love to pump out though they take a hot minute to release their music it is well worth the wait!   I never heard such great instrumentals since classical music in elementary school, though I never really loved classical music, though I love funk music (disco, etc) and it’s detail that people put in for the tunes you would listen to.   They are actually a good band and I would literally recommend the Olympians to anyone who would actually listen to the band and my ramblings!

In search of a revival was just released this year, and I must say the sound is rather revolutionary and great to hear, which is ironic as this is the year of the fire horse which means revolutionary stuff happens!   Though most of their songs revolve around Greek mythology and roman mythology it is rather weath listening to and even learning about the myths too!   Though there last album was released on 2016, do you see a funky trend here?   I think if you want quality music that is the Olympians then you music wait for the great stuff!

Personally I can’t wait to see if they will come to the Ottawa Bluesfest one year!  That being said  would you want to hear them at Bluesfest too?  Just think about it! Also the music reminds me of a pre-9/11 airport, the kind I was growing up with, this music really reminds me of a lost time.  Thank you you bringing me back to the positive parts of my childhood Toby and the Olympians! Again, mahadsanid!

Also this years Ottawa Bluesfest has an amazing line up this year!   I am particularly going to see Limp Bizkit, Gwen Stefani and Here come the mummies!  That being said the impact these bands and artists had on me was phenomenal.

Limp bizkit, the first on the 10th of July, has made me think that there are people think the same way I do at times, and when you are a teenager and young adult this is very vital for helping with emotions.  Though I started to here the language in hotdog flavoured water that being said I knew that by metal was a great genre second to Opera (to most people) though the language is foul and colourful I can tattoo listening to the music as this still as an impact on my day from time to time.   That being said I started to  started to listen to Fred and the band when I was 11 years old.  Just when things were starting to take a nose dive eventually!    This band was one of many that helped me because they helped with affirming that other people are similar to me!

Now Gwen Stefani she was there with no Doubt at the time and this was when I started to fall into PTSD with symptoms and being bullying (which added to my trauma) though her music  like Sean Paul’s was a great escape from the brutal reality that I had to face in school.  I found her voice was rather re-assuring and upbeat!  I can’t say very much but I was able to stay alive during the ages of 12- 15 when listening to her music!  And I was able to cope better the next day with the situation from listening to her music the day of the bad day!

Also I would say similar to the mummies though I started to listen to them when I was a young adult!  I was more else safe from all other form of trauma at this point and I just enjoyed their music as it was!

After hearing about the ‘here come the mummies’ coming to Ottawa Bluesfest I was more then hyper and rather excited!  It felt like  I had a drink of coffee yesterday and had a hell of a time sleeping !  That be if  it was close between them and the artist Gwen Stefani!   Though I rather the unconventional stuff over the neuronormative crap like Gwen Stefani.  That being I wanted to learn more about the people who I am about to see on stage!

Current members of the band are: Mummy Cass – Guitar, Lead vocalsEddie Mummy – Drums, VocalsSpazzy Mummy (Spaz) – Keyboards, Vocals.

The story behind the band is this …..  The band's story is just as unconventional as they are: A professor named Nigel Dumblucke unearthed a cursed group of mummies from an ancient discotheque in 1922

Though they are an american funk rock band!  I have been listening to the since the mid 2010s when I was still with my parents!  That being said there songs include the songs like: freak flag and pants as well as dirty minds!  That is just a few to name  with regards to the songs!   Though I was recommended the band when I was about 22 years old this was a rather difficult time in it on it own!  I had lost my grand parents and I was wallowing in self pity that being said it was there songs that help me get out of my funk!   That Being said I rather look at the fun and weird things that come instead of the normal things like Gwen Stefani!

Though I have been listening to Gwen since age 13 that was a horrible time in my life!   And I rather not remember the really official times!  Though I can t remember the source of the recommendation, was it a friend or a my space post I can’t really remember but mall I remember is the songs and how fun and funky they are!   I find that them coming to Ottawa bluesfest was rather hyper active inducing for me as I listen to them since for a long time!

Also I started to draw again!   That being said  I started to draw again though I thought about different things!  I don’t have very much to say about this I hope to draw other things and people soon!

Ducky's Log #4: That One Discord Scam and Neil Sedaka

It is I, Gwenny. Hope your week has been lovely. On my end of things, I at last got better from my month long flu. Hooray for me! As I post this, it is only two hours left of February before we transition into the new month. With that out of the way, let's get right to it.

Yesterday morning, I received a suspicious looking message from an AQ3D guildie where she claimed that she reported my account for suspicious activity after clicking on a supposed link in our DMs and asked if someone other than me runs my account. Obviously, there was no link anywhere in said DMs and I'm the only one on my own account. Of course it clicked right away that it was a similar scam to what was talked about within signal boosts in a few of the different Discord servers I'm in, so I was careful not to fall for it. The scams in question involve a user supposedly reporting your account for suspicious activity and the possibility of both your and the sender's account being removed within so and so amount of time. The scam also involves a screenshot of an email supposedly from Discord's support team. It's all fake. That is to bait you. Now why do I write this, you ask? So that any of Wickid and I's readers that have Discord will know to be careful and not to fall for this scheme.

In unrelated news, RIP to 50s and 60s singer Neil Sedaka who passed away yesterday. Only just a few months ago, I was very fortunate to have watched one of my VHS tapings of one of those Time Life music informercials he hosted that centered around a compilation of oldies love songs that I made around the time that it aired around 2010 when I was still in high school and was heavily into said music informercials. Heck, as a matter of fact, I remember that to be my very first exposure to him and his music, though my interest in him was sporadic at best afterwards. To end this Ducky's Log, here's a couple of his songs. Bye for now.

Ducky's Log #3: Blurbs About An Unlikely Favorite Game

It is, I, Gwenny here with yet another written episode of Ducky's Log. Hope you had a lovely week wherever you are. The sickness I've been down with is only as of the day before yesterday slowly clearing up, bringing my motivation back in full swing in time. Anyway, time to blab about an unlikely favorite that I put off for many years since I first heard about it. The game I was hesitant to play for so long. Yep. We're talking Fortnite. What is Fortnite, you ask? Basically, it's one of those online last man standing games, but with a bonus of in game concerts and creator based games within a game, if you will.

With the introduction out of the way, my unlikely journey with Fortnite started out like this. From what I can remember, around the time it was still fairly new, it was brought to my attention via a Facebook post from an online friend of mine; however, the nature of the post regarding Fortnite in question was pretty negative, specifically people who play it.

Said friend's later posts would highlight the gist of what the reasons were, such as the players being underage and/or hackers. Because of the aforementioned stuff that was said about the game as well as further controversy surrounding the game, for the longest time, I was hesitant to play it. The first time I was asked to play was by an IRL friend via video chat, and I obviously said no. Several years later, however, yet another opportunity to play came via yet another online friend who kept pestering me via Discord to play with him on there, to which I finally said yes and gave it a chance, though not without some technical hiccups beforehand that occurred. But hey, every journey has to start somewhere right?

Alas, that particular online friendship was short lived for reasons I won't go into here out of respect for his privacy, but I did at least manage to play with him for the first and only time after previous sessions didn't go into fruition, and that first and only time was a blast. We did some mashup jams together in the lobby shortly before the actual gaming session. Once the battle royale session took place, he managed to take down two people at once. Quite the impressive feat. Then he got shot down and I was able to heal him up in time, but then we both died and he rage quit. In between that and afterwards, I've actually ended up enjoying it of my own accord. Heck, I've actually gone solo majority of the time and it is still quite the learning curve. That's just part of the Fortnite journey thus far.

One of my favorite things about Fortnite and quite the unique aspect of it is the ability to make jams and impromptu mashups. The best example of the mashups from my experience is definitely the impromptu mashup that short lived friend and I did of "Snow, "(Hey Oh)" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and "Gimme Chocolate" by BABYMETAL. It's the biggest thing in the game for me that makes me wish I played it much, much sooner. One of my biggest caveats though is that it is heavily monetized, so the only way to not get tempted to spend on anything that catches my eye is to stay away from the shop entirely. A favorite item or complete set I want I can't afford to spend would be gone in the blink of an eye if I don't get it before the time runs out. Frustrating part of the journey, but one that if I'm continuing to be really careful, can still make the game enjoyable as it is.

All in all, the best and only battle royale game I have ever played thus far and one I genuinely enjoy. Please know that if any of you are still going to be put off by Fortnite, I won't hold anything against you and you are not obligated to play if you don't want to. But for those that do badly want to play, always weigh your options and when you do play, find what battle style best works for you. That's all for now.

Hope you have a lovely week!

Alien’s Log #3: fire-s/tattoo, music and Orion!

Hello there this the alien talking! To be honest with you this was a rather productive week for me!  I got a tattoo, made a social media platform and I also will be talking about the music that shaped me

My newest addition

I my 10th tattoo, which is Mr. D.P, from Robert young pelton’s worlds most dangerous places the book and and come back alive the book!   This said the stor behind my bookish tattoo is the i  first read the fifth edition when I was coming out of the severe and massive depression!  I was reading the book for fun (the only fucking f-bomb I drop) and then I started to read the back of the book (something I do when I thoroughly enjoy a book) and it mention the symptoms of PTSD, or as like to call it affectionately as ‘ the piss off.’ That being said I saw that major cause of my depression and fought for my mental health even more than my parents who would be my best advocates At the time.   I also took an interests in conflict journalism, though I could never go to university because of the bullying i endure in elementary school and contributing to my PTSD!

Then I started to read the book shake hands with the devil and that book and the movie (with actors) helped me related to Romeo Dallaire who has PTSD and suffered greatly.  He was a general in the un peace keeping forced in Rwanda that said I was able to relate to  Romeo Dallaire more than I relate with rein man.  That being said  i find that the author of worlds most danger places is neurodivergent too, as I was able to relate to him with his autobiography the adventurist!  The author of dangerous places is Robert young Pelton who helped me not just with my mental health but to appreciate this nerd (ball) called earth!  I also read three worlds gone mad and License to kill, too!  That said, I found the books are pure gold!  Give a hoot and read a book, and if it helps you with your mental health/enjoy it then get a tattoo based on that book!

I also got my room dealt with, that said I found that it took me less time to organize my rooms and I was able to decorate the room how I wanted to!  Though I will be feeling it tomorrow, this was a great day!   My room looks bigger than before, and I had to get rid of a lot of shit!  Also my room is a bubble gum pink and I love it!    I found that it was easier as I got rid of a lot of stuff!  What happened was the invasion of the mould that I didn’t really appreciate, the damn mould kicked me out of the on room for at least a mouth and three weeks!  Jeez!  I hate microbes, though I find them interesting to read I don’t like microbes bastardizing everything.

Also I found that I felt better because I was doing stuff that I don’t usually do but i will be happy tomorrow!  Why?  Because it will be snowing, beautiful snow!    I get to shovel the hell out of the snow!  I wish I could have a gym membership though 66$ dollars a month would make my head spin!   I mid think about a gym membership would be great once I am tattooed!  Personally a good fucking day!

This is the second constellation the to got in less than a year!  Only this time it was Orion the hunter, I believe.   This is rather interesting to say the least as I only got the handle of the Big Dipper this past autumn of 2025!  I started to do astrophotography last year this time when I was take picture of on my smart phone and saw that I got Orion’s Belt for the most part this rather amusing!

That being said getting stars is a bitch to do at first.  Though I am still pretty green at this I am proud of my photographic stargazing (or astrophotography in lake mans terms).  This I find that people are so obsessed with politics and bullshit to really care what is going on in the sky at night , though I was targeting the Big Dipper it was not presenting itself to me -still hiding behind a tree which is super annoying like the sound of an airplane or the sight of one to be honest with you.    Any way I just wanted to show you my shot that I got this evening before I go to bed!   That being said I did not sleep well last night …..wonder why…..hmmmm m!

Also I will be telling you that I have created this social media platform: fire-s! It is pronounced fires as in a puril for fire!   That being said I was bored staff this morning after the shoveling snow and I also had a brain wave and hours later I created to the site fire-s (fires)!    That being I have ducky on the site and my friend karma as well!  That being said I tried to make a social platform months ago and it resulted in me breaking my phone after having a PTSD flashback and was out of an electronic for about a month!  Though I could not create a social platform with out get triggered (frustrated) or some money drama.  I usually end up on yocoo.org that would cause extra for a blog, this way I was able to save money with using AI on canva!  That being said  here is what the site looks like!  I hope y’all can join as well as write you blogs here!

That being said I have the rules and terms of the website!  That being said it is like Facebook when it comes to zero tolerance to nsfw and terrorism and nudity.  That being said I would be very happy to see more people use fires as well as the usual Facebook and other sites too!  That being said this was done for free and with ai on canva!  I came put with the fire theme as the fire alarm was triggering me!    That being said I did this with out creating a fuss or breaking anything at all!
Also I wanted to create a good social media site before but I never had the ball to do so!

That being said I my favourite music is from the band insane clown posse, Sean Paul (who I saw at blues fest) and papa roach who I also saw on blues fest too!     That being said I see that Bluesfest is starting  up their 2026 lineup and I hear it will be great!  Keep tuned on the Elena’s moon garden for more details!

Also I hope to see more people create good and quality accounts on Fire—s (join). I will be back on Monday to talk turkey!🦃

Ducky's Log #2: My Experience With Mario Kart World Thus Far (Favorite Video Games part 1)

Hello again, y'all! It is I, Gwenny yet again! Hope you all had a lovely week. Me? As of almost two Wednesday nights ago, I've been sick with whatever upper respiratory infection that's been going around. As of this writing, I am currently dealing with the effects of said infection and trust me when I say that is not fun. With that out of the way, let's get this show on the road, shall we?

This time I will cover one of my latest gaming obsessions, this one being Mario Kart World. Now, to bring you up to speed, Mario Kart World is the latest of the Mario Kart series to come out, with the release being only this past year. In my case, it came as a built-in code for the Nintendo Switch 2 I got for Christmas. One of my buddies who played it before me was dying to play it with me for some time and I'm happy to say that she got her wish. Shout-out to her, by the way! It turned out to be quite a better experience thus far. The gameplay as a whole was smooth, maneuverability and all, compared to the older games in the series I tested out thus far, namely Super Mario Kart 64 and the OG Mario Kart, originally released on Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, respectively. I'll go into more detail about those experiences on my own blog at some point as it would be quite a lot to cover here. But the short gist of it is, the differences of the gameplay and the options in these games are pretty big.

On the boost items, my favorite boost items are the super star, the dash mushroom, and the ghost.  The super star is when your character's body turns into a bright, pastel rainbow and enables you to bump into the other racers, with a touch of a synth sounding musical note. The dash mushroom makes you go faster, and it comes in handy for when you get hit by obstacles. The ghost one, aka Boo, makes you essentially, well a ghost. You can go right through anything and anyone, and as a bonus, the ghost gives you a random item or obstacle. Now speaking of obstacles, here are some obstacle items  I encountered that were essentially double-edged swords. They are either your best friend or your enemy. The bomb is the best when left alone on the back of your kart where when the other racer hits it, they get blown up but then you're safe. When you throw it, however, you either miss it or you get blown up when you accidentally run into it, which the outcome is the best when it's not you, (same with the banana peels). The green turtle shells are the best when you are closer to the other driver when you throw it. Unless you have great aim (which is some of the time), you tend to miss each time when you're far away from the other driver. The red shells are a guaranteed hit and are my personal best of the obstacle items for that reason.  Alongside the banana peels, both the red and green shells, when you don't throw them after obtaining them, they serve as protection. The blue spiked shells, they will hit you guaranteed when you are ahead of all the racers at any point in the race save for when you already cross the finish line. The boomerang and the hammer, those require the best aim, one I don't have the majority of the time.

Now, onto the courses. The best courses I recommend would be the majority of the land courses including Mario Circuit, Mario Bros. Circuit, Sky High Sundae, Boo Cinema, and Moo Moo Meadows. Those courses are more feasible with the smooth maneuverability and easy turns. The worst courses are most of the water based courses, including Wario Shipyard. The ability to master this is pretty difficult. It took me quite a while to do so because the water has a tendency to make one pretty slow and have a hard time maneuvering. Of course, anything is possible, really. Bowser's Castle, previously the worst of the courses overall in the context of the previous Mario Kart games I tried, is a bit more tolerable to say the least. Rainbow Road was the worst in this case, in that the fly throughs tend to slow one down quite a bit, which can be a tad frustrating.

Lastly, my thoughts on the races overall. I have yet to fully master the version of the races where you compete against complete strangers. So far, the highest I've gotten in that realm is 2nd place. Most of the time, I'd be below 10th. Whereas racing against friends is more easier to win overall. All in all, out of every Mario Kart game I've played, I'd say Mario Kart World is the best one thus far.

Part 2 to come in the near future where I talk about my most unlikely favorite. Stay tuned.

This concludes the Ducky's Log. If you haven't read Wickid's Alien Log yet, please do so now when you get the chance. Have a good rest of your week.

Alien’s Log #5: Vibespace, cryptids

Hello there this is the alien speaking!   How are you doing!    I must say that I first today created a new social media site that I hope p...
