It is I, Gwenny. Hope your week has been lovely. On my end of things, I at last got better from my month long flu. Hooray for me! As I post this, it is only two hours left of February before we transition into the new month. With that out of the way, let's get right to it.
Yesterday morning, I received a suspicious looking message from an AQ3D guildie where she claimed that she reported my account for suspicious activity after clicking on a supposed link in our DMs and asked if someone other than me runs my account. Obviously, there was no link anywhere in said DMs and I'm the only one on my own account. Of course it clicked right away that it was a similar scam to what was talked about within signal boosts in a few of the different Discord servers I'm in, so I was careful not to fall for it. The scams in question involve a user supposedly reporting your account for suspicious activity and the possibility of both your and the sender's account being removed within so and so amount of time. The scam also involves a screenshot of an email supposedly from Discord's support team. It's all fake. That is to bait you. Now why do I write this, you ask? So that any of Wickid and I's readers that have Discord will know to be careful and not to fall for this scheme.
In unrelated news, RIP to 50s and 60s singer Neil Sedaka who passed away yesterday. Only just a few months ago, I was very fortunate to have watched one of my VHS tapings of one of those Time Life music informercials he hosted that centered around a compilation of oldies love songs that I made around the time that it aired around 2010 when I was still in high school and was heavily into said music informercials. Heck, as a matter of fact, I remember that to be my very first exposure to him and his music, though my interest in him was sporadic at best afterwards. To end this Ducky's Log, here's a couple of his songs. Bye for now.
